Courtney E. Dolaway, a shareholder at Flaster Greenberg, has been named a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” by The Legal Intelligencer, as part of its 2021 Professional Excellence Awards. This prestigious award is given to those attorneys who are considered future leaders of the legal community in Pennsylvania. Ms. Dolaway is one of 25 attorneys selected to the list, which identifies attorneys who have displayed an extraordinary commitment to the practice of law, furthering the legal profession, and to their communities.

Courtney is a member of Flaster Greenberg’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group focusing her practice on estate planning, estate administration, business succession, and general corporate matters. She represents individuals and business owners in their estate plans and corporate planning. Her focus is on determining each client’s particular situation and providing them a custom-tailored plan to assist them, their families and, if applicable, their businesses. She is particularly adept at handling larger estates as well as estate matters that have potential litigation. Courtney also serves as chair of the firm's Women's Initiative Committee.

“Over the last few years, I have had the opportunity to watch Courtney flourish into an extremely knowledgeable and talented attorney, who I am proud to say is my fellow shareholder,” said Jordan A. LaVine, Co-Managing Shareholder of Flaster Greenberg. “I recognize that trusts and estates is a field of law comprised of historically senior attorneys, and have seen first-hand that dedicated, young leaders, like Courtney, who are the future of the law within the legal community, are difficult to find.”

Courtney’s hard work and dedication to further her education have proven beneficial to her, graduating magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University and receiving her J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. She works in both the firm’s Cherry Hill and Philadelphia offices and is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. Tax Court, the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and U.S. Tax Court.

Dedication to the community is evident in Courtney’s extracurricular work, which included being the pro bono coordinator for the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, J. Willard O’Brien American Inn of Court. Additionally, she has been named a “Rising Star” in Pennsylvania in the areas of estate planning and probate by Super Lawyers magazine for the past three consecutive years as well as an “Awesome Attorney” in the areas of trusts & estates law by South Jersey Magazine.

The 2021 Lawyers on the Fast Track class will be honored at a celebratory dinner on June 24th in Philadelphia. For more information on the award, including a full list of members, click here.
