Nicole A. Josephy

Shareholder Nicole A. Josephy focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on insurance counseling and recovery. She represents individual and corporate policyholders throughout Florida in high-stakes insurance coverage disputes in both state and federal courts. Her work includes commercial property claims, business interruption losses, professional liability matters, construction-related claims, and other insurance coverage issues.

Nicole advises clients on policy interpretation, insurer obligations, coverage positions, and risk management considerations. She assists clients with pre-suit coverage analysis and negotiation and represents them through all phases of litigation, including trial when necessary.

Prior to joining Flaster Greenberg, Nicole was an attorney at a boutique South Florida firm dedicated exclusively to insurance recovery litigation, where she represented policyholders in complex coverage disputes against national and international insurers. Earlier in her career, she practiced at Florida’s largest litigation-focused firm, where she handled a broad range of commercial and civil litigation matters.

During that time, Nicole developed substantial experience in construction litigation, representing general contractors, developers, design professionals, subcontractors, materials suppliers, manufacturers, owners, and other construction industry stakeholders in construction defect and contract disputes. This experience informs her approach to construction-related insurance claims, particularly where underlying liability issues intersect with coverage disputes.

Her experience in commercial litigation, construction disputes, and insurance recovery enables her to provide clients with informed, strategic guidance on complex coverage matters throughout Florida.
