In an article describing the friendly relationships that sometimes develop between buyers and sellers of real estate, Frank Wisniewski was asked about the legal obligations of a seller to the buyer after settlement. Wisniewski said that friendship does not change the legal rights of buyer and seller after the papers are signed. “The seller owes the buyer no responsibility unless the seller has intentionally hidden the problem from the buyer,” he said.
