Alexis K. Peskin concentrates her practice on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, bringing a practical, business-focused approach to structuring deals, managing risk, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
With more than 15 years of in-house leadership experience, she understands the practical challenges businesses face and how to protect, prevent, and resolve the legal and operational challenges they face.
She has extensive experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements, including vendor and service contracts, SaaS agreements, intellectual property licensing arrangements, sponsorship agreements, and strategic partnership agreements. She regularly counsels clients on contract strategy, risk allocation, and dispute resolution, helping to resolve issues efficiently and, where possible, avoid litigation.
Her practice includes significant experience supporting mergers and acquisitions and other transformative transactions. She has been involved in all stages of the deal lifecycle, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, coordinating financing arrangements, and managing post-closing integration. Lexi also advises on the legal and operational aspects of integrating acquired businesses, including contract assignments, regulatory compliance, and internal alignment across business units.
Lexi also brings deep experience in corporate governance and compliance. She advises executives and business leaders on governance matters, develops internal policies and playbooks. Her background includes working with companies operating in highly regulated industries and navigating complex legal frameworks at the federal, state, and international levels.
In addition, Lexi has substantial experience in data privacy and information governance, including compliance with evolving U.S. and international privacy laws. She has advised on product development and technology initiatives with privacy considerations in mind, including SaaS and digital platform offerings.
Lexi has worked closely with business teams on revenue-generating initiatives, including developing and implementing intellectual property and brand licensing programs. She also has experience advising on supply chain and pricing issues, including tariff-related matters and vendor negotiations.
