Shareholder Lauren Schwimmer, Real Estate and Land Use Practice Group Lead, was recently featured in an NJBIZ article titled, "NJBIZ panel: Women execs say progress stalls in workplace," by Kimberly Richmond.

Schwimmer recently participated in NJBIZ’s March 25 Women in Business virtual panel, where she joined fellow female leaders in a candid discussion on the state of progress for women in today’s workplace. The 90-minute roundtable explored key issues including mentorship, networking, leadership equity, and financial literacy, while also acknowledging the perception that advancement has slowed in recent years.

Schwimmer’s perspective was featured in the accompanying NJBIZ coverage, where she underscored the importance of visibility and inclusion in driving meaningful change. As she noted, “I do believe representation matters … and I think that helps us get more of those women with like minds in the door who might not have necessarily gotten there to begin with.” Her comments highlight the critical role that representation and advocacy continue to play in shaping more equitable professional environments.
