Ken Eiferman is a shareholder in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department and Patent Practice Group. He has over two decades of experience in the field of intellectual property law, specializing in patent counseling, protection, and enforcement for companies of all sizes across various industries, including artificial intelligence, computer software and hardware, communications, cloud computing, content delivery, and electronic gaming.
Throughout his career, Ken has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by companies in the technology and digital sectors, and he leverages this knowledge to help clients safeguard their innovations. He believes that communication is the foundation of a successful attorney-client relationship, and he is particularly focused on interacting with clients to understand inventive concepts and optimize business outcomes.
Ken obtained his J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Hofstra University.

- Obtained patent protection in connection with a highly advanced gesture-based computer control system that is regarded to be among the most commercially successful computing products ever developed.
- Served on a trial team in a multi-patent dispute on behalf of a multinational software company before the International Trade Commission. The case centered on open-source operating system software and settled favorably for the client after the trial.
