Steve Greenberg to Receive The New Jersey Law Journal’s Prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award

| Press Release

Flaster Greenberg PC name shareholder Stephen M. Greenberg has been selected by The New Jersey Law Journal to receive the prestigious 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award, which will be presented to a select group of New Jersey’s most influential lawyers at a celebratory dinner on June 15th in Florham Park, NJ.

The New Jersey Law Journal consulted with trusted members of the community for their recommendations of lawyers who have made a distinct impact on the legal profession in the state. Lawyers selected to this prestigious list “have helped shape the law in New Jersey, whether through their work on the bench, their work in-house, building a firm or any other means,” according to the publication. Of the 25 honorees, Steve is one of only four South Jersey-based attorneys selected to the list.

After graduating from Yale Law School in 1976, Steve had career opportunities all over the country but chose to return to his hometown of Cherry Hill, NJ to practice business and tax law, joining a two-man tax law boutique firm formerly named Liebman & Flaster, P.A.  As the firm grew into Flaster Greenberg P.C., Steve's practice representing medical professionals throughout the region flourished.  He has represented hundreds of medical practices and physicians in the South Jersey and Philadelphia medical communities, as well as local, regional and national businesses and has guided clients, such as Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia, P.C., the largest single specialty practice in the region, through an ever changing marketplace, helping it grow from a two physician practice to a regional powerhouse with approximately 100 cardiologists.  Additionally, he has made a significant difference in the lives of local families by planning and administering their estates, and continues to advise clients on complex tax matters that directly impact their bottom line.

Throughout his career, Steve has been recognized as pre-eminent in the field of health law, being named as a New Jersey Super Lawyer for 12 consecutive years, as a top attorney in healthcare by SJ Magazine, and an Awesome Attorney in health and administrative law by South Jersey Magazine. He has also given back to the community through service on the Camden County Bar Association's Judicial and Prosecutorial Community and as counsel to, and on the Board of Directors of Temple Beth Sholom.

Information about each award recipient will be included in a special supplement that will be published in The New Jersey Law Journal on June 13, 2016. For a list of this year's recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award, click here.
