Flaster Greenberg Promotes Three Attorneys to Shareholders

Flaster Greenberg PC, a full-service commercial business law firm, is pleased to announce the election of Alexis Arena, Justin H. Brownand John G. Kochto shareholders effective January 1, 2016.

Alexis Arena is a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Department, focusing her practice on trademark counseling and litigation, online trademark enforcement, and internet disputes. She advises clients on protecting and enforcing intellectual property rights, including the resolution of domain name disputes and matters concerning e-commerce, online speech and conduct, and related intellectual property issues. She earned her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2005. 

Arena has been named a 'Lawyer on the Fast Track' byThe Legal Intelligencer, a Pennsylvania 'Rising Star' for the last five consecutive years by Thomson Reuters, publishers of  Super Lawyers magazine, and a 'Top Attorney' by SJ Magazine for the last four consecutive years.

Justin H. Brown is a member of the firm’s Business and CorporateTaxation and Trusts & Estates practice groups, focusing his practice on estate and tax planning, business succession planning, estate and trust administration and estate litigation. He earned his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in 2005, cum laude, where he served as Note and Comment Editor of the American University Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law. He received his LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law in 2012. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Probate Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and most recently, he was elected to serve as Secretary of the Probate Section. 

Brown has been named a 'Lawyer on the Fast Track' by The Legal Intelligencer, both a New Jersey and Pennsylvania ‘Rising Star’ by Thomson Reuters, publishers of Super Lawyersmagazine, an ‘Awesome Attorney’ by South Jersey Magazine, and a 'Top Attorney' by SJ Magazine.  

John G. Koch is a member of the firm's  LitigationInsurance Coverage,Environmental/Real Estate Law, and Construction Groups. He represents clients in business litigation and transactional matters, including insurance coverage disputes, environmental matters, contract disputes, disputes concerning fiduciary duties of officers and directors, construction litigation and other business matters.  He earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2005 where he served as Managing Editor of Outside Articles for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal. Most recently, Koch was elected to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Environmental Law Section. He is also a member and past Chair of the Membership Committee of the Delaware Valley American Environmental Inn of Court.

Accredited as a LEED® Green Associate by the Green Building Certification Institute, Koch has been named both a New Jersey and Pennsylvania ‘Rising Star’ by Thomson Reuters, publishers of Super Lawyers magazine, and a 'Top Attorney' by SJ Magazine.
