American Bar Association - Forum on Construction Law

PDF

On November 13-14, 2025, the ABA Forum on Construction Law will present “Construction Law Essentials” in four cities across the country. Taught by leading construction industry professionals in each locale, “Essentials” combines two of the Forum’s most popular programs, Fundamentals of Construction Law and Sticks & Bricks, into a single two-day program covering the essential technical and legal underpinnings of
construction, including the key participants in a project, project delivery systems and construction agreements, the bidding and construction process, insurance and bonding, government construction contracts, and dispute resolution.

Whether new to these concepts or as a refresher, as a lawyer or as a non-lawyer construction professional, attendees will build their knowledge-base to better comprehend complex technical concepts and identify and anticipate legal risks in the construction industry. This affordable, conveniently-located program provides an excellent way for firms and companies of all sizes to provide an exceptional training
opportunity to their lawyers and construction professionals.
