2025 Airport Energy Management Symposium

PDF

Join us December 3 – 5 in Denver, CO at the ACI-NA Airport Energy Management Symposium for an informative discussion of how airports, their energy providers, tenants, and other stakeholders are stepping up to meet this new generation of airport energy management challenges.

This year’s symposium will seek to make sense of a continually changing environment, providing energy, facility, environmental, planning, legal, finance, and both commercial and infrastructure development leaders with the tools and information you need to adapt and innovate during these challenging times.

The Symposium will address critical topics including assessing and addressing energy supply needs, navigating emerging energy distribution challenges; structuring airport energy plans for sustainable and resilient operations; and understanding the latest in US and Canadian energy policies and programs. Although electricity will be a primary focus of the event, we’ll also be addressing other key energy sources, including hydrogen.

We invite you to join us on December 4 in Denver, CO, where the Flaster Greenberg attorneys listed below will be featured speakers.

Session #8: Regulatory Landscape, Changing Policies, and How to Keep Up – Part 2

Airport staff have learned many lessons over the last couple of years about talking to utilities, including that the electric companies are willing to build capacity only after the airport asks for it, starts paying for it, the lead times are long, and the costs are highly variable. This session will help the audience better understand key considerations for utility arrangements that may influence decision-making.
