Kent C. Hess is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Department and Patent Practice Group. His practice focuses on application prep, prosecution in front of the USPTO and foreign patent offices, litigation support, and due diligence projects.
Kent obtained his J.D. from George Mason University – Antonin Scalia Law School in May of 2024 after successfully completing Flaster Greenberg’s Summer Associate Program in 2023. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University in physics.
In law school, Kent was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Society and Pauline Newman IP American Inn of Court and participated in the 2022 National Patent Application Drafting Competition. He also served as Towson University Office of Student Conduct & Civility Education board member.
