Jerome Paul Redmann focuses on patent litigation matters. A former summer associate with Flaster Greenberg, Paul previously worked alongside the firm’s intellectual property attorneys on both patent prosecution and litigation matters, gaining hands-on experience drafting patent applications and USPTO Office Action responses, conducting prior art and legal research, reviewing invalidity opinions, and participating in invention disclosure meetings and patent examiner interviews. His background in both engineering and law allows him to effectively advise clients on complex intellectual property issues involving sophisticated technologies.
Prior to joining the firm full time, Paul completed legal internships in both private practice and in-house settings, where he focused on intellectual property, litigation, and transactional matters. He also gained early experience advocating for individuals with disabilities in areas including education, housing, and healthcare access. Earlier in his career, Paul worked as a computer engineer, managing software development, testing, and systems integration projects. This technical experience provides him with a strong foundation for understanding the technologies underlying modern intellectual property disputes.
Paul earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, where he concentrated in intellectual property law and served as a senior editor of IDEA: The Law Review of the Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property. He also served as Treasurer of the Student Bar Association and competed in the Queens County District Attorney Mock Trial Competition.
Paul received his B.S. in computer engineering from University of Maryland.
