Flaster Greenberg honored and celebrated the varied traditions, cultures, ethnicities, and perspectives of its employees by hosting a Multicultural Day during Global Diversity Awareness Month. Coordinated by the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, employees in the firm’s Cherry Hill, Philadelphia, and Conshohocken offices brought in homemade or store-bought treats that represent their culture or special family tradition.
Employees enjoyed sampling treats representing a variety of cultures — from Chinese pastries to Irish, Southern, Italian, and Jewish specialties — celebrating the diverse backgrounds that make up our FG community.
Attorneys and staff delighted in bonding over the variety of family traditions as they tasted the delicious goodies, including hearing the touching stories about many grandmothers who passed down recipes to the next generation.
Global Diversity Awareness Month is an annual observance in October that celebrates the richness of different cultures, perspectives, and backgrounds around the world. It encourages people to promote inclusivity, dispel stereotypes, and build a more welcoming environment by sharing knowledge about different traditions, ethnicities, and experiences.
