Business & Corporate Law Attorney Mariel Giletto recently moderated a panel discussion for the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey’s Family Owned Business Council, sponsored by Flaster Greenberg and Whitepenny.

The panelists were comprised of small business owners and a national supply-chain leader. They discussed the challenges newly formed, small MWBEs face in attempting to achieve diversity requirements and fulfill demands required of the large contracts. This engaging and interactive conversation also included an exchange of insights about becoming certified, barriers to competition, how decisions are made, and more.

Look for another Family Owned Business Council meeting this fall.
