Law360 Pulse reporter Adrian Cruz interviewed Flaster Greenberg Patent Attorney John Laurence about moving his practice to Flaster Greenberg and profiled Patent Attorneys Joan Simunic and Philippe Laguerre.

A firm representative told Law360 Pulse Thursday that New York-based counsel John C. Laurence and Philadelphia-based associate Philippe Laguerre joined Flaster Greenberg's patent practice in mid-April, while of counsel Joan L. Simunic joined the firm's office in West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania in mid-March.

"The addition of these three attorneys continues our growth in this very strategic practice area and meaningfully enhances the scope and depth of the IP Services that Flaster Greenberg provides," intellectual property chair Michael Piscitelli said in a statement.

"I found the opportunity to do the kind of patent work I hadn't done before to be very attractive and the technology was something I hadn't delved into before, so the opportunity to work on wireless technologies and related standard essential patents was something I was looking forward to experiencing," Laurence said. "I'm also looking forward to learning from a group that has a lot of experience in the field."
