April is designated National Volunteer Month as a way to recognize those who dedicate their time and talent to giving back to the community.
Flaster Greenberg is proud to celebrate this month and our attorneys who give back such as South Jersey Legal Services, Inc. Volunteer and Flaster Greenberg Bankruptcy Shareholder Doug Stanger. He believes it's important to use his legal experience and bankruptcy knowledge to advocate for those in need.
Doug says "It's critical for attorneys to give back to the community. South Jersey Legal Services allows us to help people that really can't afford counsel to get the fresh start we so believe in."
South Jersey Legal Services, Inc. (SJLS) is a non-profit organization created to provide quality legal representation and advocacy to low-income individuals in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Monmouth, Ocean and Salem Counties. With over 50 years’ experience, SJLS is part of the Legal Services of New Jersey network and a recipient of funds from the federal Legal Services Corporation.
Doug has volunteered for South Jersey Legal Services for more than a decade.
