A recent Delaware Business Times article titled, "Flaster Greenberg Launches AI Practice Group," discusses the firm's practice group expansion to help businesses navigate the legal challenges and opportunities presented by emerging AI techologies.
“We saw an opportunity to move quickly, which is needed in the AI space, to bring together multiple lawyers in different practice areas,” he told the Delaware Business Times. “AI is not limited to one field of law. It touches intellectual property, contracts, employment policies, corporate governance and even international issues.”
“AI doesn’t have emotions or an internal compass. It’s rule based. We’re dealing with people, not with an AI chatbot,” he said. “The practice of law is still a personal service business, even as technology transforms it. . . We need to be here to provide that service as businesses interact with this transformative technology.”
