Flaster Greenberg is pleased to welcome four summer associates in our Cherry Hill, NJ and Philadelphia, PA offices for an internship and mentor program that will offer them tangible legal experience in a variety of departments.
Sarah M. Bellacicco, a rising 2L student at Rutgers Law School, is a Philadelphia Diversity Law Group (PDLG) fellow who received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rowan University and anticipates earning her J.D. in May 2027. Bellacicco will work closely with a variety of shareholders and associates in the firm’s Corporate and Business Law, Intellectual Property, Real Estate, Bankruptcy, Family Law, Insurance Counseling and Recovery, Litigation, and Cybersecurity, Data Privacy & AI Departments. She will also participate in networking events and attorney development programming. Bellacicco’s internship and mentor program will run eight weeks.
Jerome Paul Redmann, Sven De La Rosa, and Elsa Johnson will gain hands-on experience in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department and work closely with the attorneys in our Patent Practice Group. During the 10-week program, they will support our patent attorneys by helping with legal research, litigation, and patent prosecution which includes drafting patent applications and responding to office actions. They will also participate in networking events and training sessions.
Redmann is a rising 3L at University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law who received a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from University of Maryland. De La Rosa is a rising 3L at University of Illinois and obtained his bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Maryland. This is his second summer internship at Flaster Greenberg. Johnson is a rising 3L student at Temple University Beasley School of Law who received her master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and her bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy. Johnson also served in the U.S. Army for twenty (20) years.
The mission of Flaster Greenberg’s Mentor Program is to provide summer associates with an opportunity to gain real-world experience working with the firm’s attorneys, staff, and clients, and to get a feel for what it is like as a first-year associate at Flaster Greenberg.
The PDLG Fellows Program provides diverse students completing their first year of law school with the opportunity to be considered for summer law jobs with PDLG member law firms. This program is open to diverse law students - those who have overcome significant and uncommon obstacles in the pursuit of a legal career, come from a disadvantaged background or come from a background, or are part of a group that is underrepresented in the Philadelphia legal community. After going through a rigorous application and interview process, twelve students work as summer associates/clerks at twelve PDLG employers.
