Chris Merrick and Eric Palombo, Transportation Law Shareholders, will be attending The Transportation Lawyers Association 58th Transportation Law Institute on Friday, October 24 at Westin Book Cadillac Detroit Hotel in Detroit, MI.
The two attorneys will attend the one-day educational program which will cover a deep dive into developments in personal data and privacy rights, liability for brokers and shippers arising out of high-loss truck accidents and FAAAA preemption, the use of AI in legal practice with respect to contracts, litigation and compliance, ESI spoliation sanctions, tariff and cross-border issues, and includes a multi-modal “lightning round” offered by legal experts on maritime, aviation, international trade, and rail. Each panel will provide both legal and industry perspectives on the topics covered. The TLI conference will also include multiple social and networking events including an opening reception, dine-arounds, and a Saturday event.
