The generic legal advice memorandum released by the Internal Revenue Service late last year (the “GLAM”) continues to spark debate regarding the viability of attorney fee structures. Two experienced attorneys working in the structured settlements industry today will address the concerns and overreactions of those who take a more pessimistic view of the GLAM’s impact. This Panel Session will also deliver an endorsement of traditional attorney fee structures.
