Flaster/Greenberg PC is a full-service, commercial business law firm serving clients across a range of industries in the public, private, government and nonprofit sectors. Our six offices in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware are strategically located within the mid-Atlantic corridor in close geographic proximity to the hubs of business, industry and government.                                           

Our clients include individuals as well as companies in all stages of growth and development, from entrepreneurs and start-ups to established family businesses and large Fortune 500 corporations. Having evolved from a two-attorney tax boutique in the 1970s into a 70-attorney commercial law firm, our reputation as a formidable alternative to mega national and international legal service providers has fueled our growth. Our attorneys are graduates from top-tier law schools including Harvard, Yale, Columbia, the University of Pennsylvania and Georgetown, and have practiced at nationally-esteemed Am Law 100 and 200 firms. Seventy percent of our attorneys have at least 10 years of legal experience. As a mid-sized firm with big-firm credentials and experience, we handle complex matters traditionally entrusted to much larger firms, yet still provide the kind of one-on-one service that has become far too uncommon.

History

From our beginnings as a tax-boutique, Flaster/Greenberg has grown over the past four decades to a multi-disciplinary law firm of 70 attorneys providing comprehensive and innovative legal services in six offices in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Initially known as Liebman & Flaster, PA, the firm began in 1972 when Rick Flaster, a Harvard Law School graduate, left Wall Street's Stroock Stroock & Lavan, to form a two-lawyer tax practice with a colleague. His firm focused on the tax, corporate, commercial, pension and estate planning, and healthcare needs of South Jersey clients. Until his passing in August 2010, Rick continued as an active member of the firm's Taxation, Trusts & Estates and Business & Corporate Practice Groups, among others.

In 1976, Yale Law School graduate Steve Greenberg came on board. The name of the firm was subsequently changed to Flaster/Greenberg PC. Today, Steve chairs the firm’s Business & Corporate and Healthcare Practice Groups, and represents some of the largest physicians’ practices in the Delaware Valley.

The firm's growth continued over the next several decades, increasing the number of office locations and attorneys. In 2002, the Flaster/Greenberg Conference Center opened in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and continues to host free legal seminars throughout the year for entrepreneurs, industry groups, nonprofit organizations and clients. In 2005, the firm expanded its workforce into Philadelphia to better serve clients throughout Pennsylvania. In 2007, we opened an office in Trenton, New Jersey, at the historic American Standard manufacturing plant. Renovated and converted, this unique redevelopment project blends historic elements with contemporary design in an office setting strategically located adjacent to the New Jersey Transit Hamilton Train Station, providing easy access for clients along the northeast corridor line from Boston to Washington, DC. Our continued growth enabled our Philadelphia office to expand into new space in Four Penn Center in Philadelphia. In the Fall of 2010, our Cherry Hill office underwent substantial renovation, much of the reconstruction consisting of environmentally-friendly, energy-efficient improvements.

From our roots in the early 1970s, we are now recognized as one of New Jersey's largest law firms. Our client roster has grown as our legal solutions have helped clients achieve success.
