Samantha Fitzpatrick Named 2022 "Bar Star - Young Lawyers Division" by Philadelphia Bar Association


Samantha Fitzpatrick, an attorney in Flaster Greenberg's Litigation and Bankruptcy, Financial Restructuring and Risk Management Departments, was recently recognized by the Philadelphia Bar Association as a "Bar Star - Young Lawyers Division (YLD)" for 2022.

Bar Star recognition is bestowed upon a member for their outstanding service to the organization. She serves as a member of the YLD's Executive Committee and assisted in the organization/planning of numerous member events, fundraisers, and community outreach efforts.

Samantha focuses her practice wide range of commercial litigation and bankruptcy and restructuring matters.

Prior to joining Flaster Greenberg, Samantha worked at a regional defense litigation firm, where she focused her practice on transportation and trucking liability. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Carolyn H. Nichols, Superior Court of Pennsylvania and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Elizabeth Jackson, Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Family Division. While in Law School, Ms. Fitzpatrick was selected for the National Trial Team and served as its Chair. Ms. Fitzpatrick earned her J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. She obtained her B.A., magna cum laude, from The Lincoln University, the nation’s first degree-granting HBCU.


The Young Lawyers Division ("YLD") of the Philadelphia Bar Association is comprised of members who have not reached their 40th birthday or who are 40 or older and have been practicing less than three years.

The YLD Executive Committee manages and directs the business and activities of the YLD's more than 2,900 members, including oversight of 20 committees in the areas of public service, law-related education and service to the legal community.  Each year, seven new members are elected to serve three-year terms on the Executive Committee, and one additional member is appointed by the Chair.
