Justin H. Brown, a member of Flaster Greenberg’s Trusts and Estates, Taxation, and Business and Corporate Practice Groups, has been named to the New Jersey Law Journal’s 2018 New Leaders of the Bar. This prestigious award is given to those attorneys who are considered future leaders of the legal community in New Jersey. Justin is one of 32 attorneys selected to the list under the age of 40 that was determined by a five-member judging panel composed of evaluators from all corners of the legal profession and around the state.
Justin focuses his practice on estate and tax planning, business succession planning, estate and trust administration and estate litigation. He earned his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in 2005, cum laude, where he served as Note and Comment Editor of the American University Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law. He received his LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law in 2012. He has been named a 'Lawyer on the Fast Track' by The Legal Intelligencer, both a New Jersey and Pennsylvania ‘Rising Star’ by Thomson Reuters, publishers of Super Lawyers magazine, an ‘Awesome Attorney’ by South Jersey Magazine, and a 'Top Attorney' by SJ Magazine. Additionally, he serves as an adjunct professor at Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law.
Information about each award recipient will be included in a special supplement that will be published in the New Jersey Law Journal on June 11, 2018. The winners will be honored as part of the Professional Excellence Awards dinner, which will also recognize the recipients of the 2018 Jersey Dealmakers of the Year Award, including Flaster Greenberg’s Corporate Department for its active mergers & acquisitions practice.
