Flaster Greenberg PC is pleased to announce that John Koch, Shareholder and Lead of the firm’s Environmental & Energy Practice Group, has been named President of the Delaware Valley American Environmental Inn of Court for the 2026–2027 Inn year. Koch’s term began at the Inn’s inaugural meeting on September 23 and will continue through the next Inn year.
The Delaware Valley American Environmental Inn of Court is one of only two Inns of Court in the United States focused specifically on environmental law. The Inn brings together attorneys and other legal professionals to foster collegiality, professional development, and the exchange of ideas surrounding environmental law and practice.
As President, Koch will lead and moderate the Inn’s monthly meetings, which include announcements and continuing legal education (CLE) programs focused on emerging topics in environmental law.
Koch has extensive experience representing businesses in environmental matters, including environmental contribution and cost-recovery actions, site remediation, regulatory negotiations, environmental due diligence, and risk transfer involving contaminated and industrial properties. His environmental practice frequently intersects with his insurance recovery work, helping clients identify and pursue insurance coverage and other sources of recovery for environmental liabilities. In addition to leading the firm’s Environmental & Energy Practice Group, Koch is a member of Flaster Greenberg’s Insurance Counseling & Recovery Practice Group and serves as the firm’s General Counsel. He represents policyholders and business clients in insurance recovery, environmental, construction, and commercial disputes.
