Flaster Greenberg Labor and Employment Attorneys to Present Workshop for HR Professionals

Flaster Greenberg attorneys Adam Gersh, Kenneth Gilberg and Michael Homans have been tapped by PrimePoint LLC to present a three-part workshop for human resources professionals offering legal perspectives on hiring, employment contracts, and social media at work. Qualified human resources professionals will receive up to three (3) credit hours for recertification.

The first session, “Employee Agreements – Protecting Your Company’s Greatest Asset – and Preventing a Competitive Attack from Within,” will be presented by Flaster Greenberg shareholder Kenneth Gilberg. This session will cover best practices to protect businesses from former employees opening a competing business or joining a competitor, soliciting customers, or hiring away key employees.

The second session, “The Hot New Hiring Rules – Helping Employers Hire While Avoiding the Pitfalls Created by the Digital World,” will be presented by Flaster Greenberg attorney Adam Gersh. This session will offer practical, real-world advice for maximizing success and minimizing liability in the new world of hiring.

The third session, “Social Media at Work – Evolving Legal Rules to manage Privacy and Productivity,” will be presented by Flaster Greenberg shareholder Michael Homans. This session will review recent legal developments and best practices for managing the use of social media at work.
