Nicole Donoian-Pody, Esq., a shareholder in the Family Law Practice at Flaster Greenberg PC, presented a seminar to employees of Bristol Myers Squibb on April 6, 2011, at the company’s facilities in Lawrenceville, NJ, on the topic of Civil Unions and Domestic Partnership benefits in the Garden State. Her presentation was sponsored by Bristol Myers’ Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Allies (GLBTA) Affinity Group, an in-house diversity organization. Ms. Donoian-Pody spoke of current New Jersey law, and the rights and obligations under each definition, as well as issues relating to adoption by gay couples or individuals and dissolution of these legal unions. Her presentation was viewed by employees in person and simulcast remotely to additional company locations.
Ms. Donoian-Pody concentrates her practice in all areas of family law and has significant experience in divorce cases involving alimony, child support, child custody, parenting time, and prenuptial agreements. She works with clients on matters involving domestic partnerships, civil unions and legal issues as they apply to the LGBT community in New Jersey.
