The Camden County Bar Association is hosting a CLE seminar on April 25 at the Tavistock Country Club titled "Hot Topics in Commercial Litigation". This panel will discuss the recent developments in third circuit law regarding enforceability of arbitration provisions motions to compel arbitration, and the growing trend of conducting discovery associated with such motions.

The panel will also explore developments regarding Motions to Transfer venue in State Court, and motions to dismiss for forum non-convenience in federal court. Focusing on both substantive updates, strategies for transferring venue and dismissal on convenience grounds, the panel will also discuss procedural issues for filing motions to transfer in New Jersey state court and New Jersey law regarding cyber security, the status of New Jersey law, the obligations of businesses and employers to protect confidential information in their possession, and identify potential exposure areas.

Finally, the panel will explore an attorney’s ethical obligations to protect client information, and the ramifications resulting from a disclosure of client information.
