Given the current state of the economy, is franchising still a viable option? Purchasing a franchise may make sense for some entrepreneurs while transforming one's own business to a franchise may be the energetic push desired by some existing business owners.

Franchisees:

Are you considering going into business, but don't necessarily want to "go it alone"? Does having the safety net of a built-in brand appeal to you? For many entrepreneurs, franchising provides the autonomy they crave while reducing the risks normally associated with introducing a brand into the marketplace.

Franchisors:

Has the growth of your existing business reached a plateau? Have you imagined how converting your company to a franchise might enhance traffic? Franchising may have been the solution for other business owners, but is it right you?

This seminar explains the ins and outs, the upside and the pitfalls of all aspects of franchising, including the difference between a franchise and other business arrangements, related costs, tax elections and the franchisor/franchisee relationship.
