As chief financial officer, Maria Allen is responsible for the management and day-to-day direction of the financial and accounting operations across the firm. Prior to joining Flaster Greenberg, she led the internal financial and accounting initiatives for Alkemy x, a media content company based in Philadelphia, PA. Maria has also held several financial managerial positions for a variety of companies, including NBC Sports, American Board of Internal Medicine, and Comcast Sports Group.
While working for NBC Sports Group in Connecticut, she served in two different roles: as manager of financial reporting, she was responsible for all financial activity related to NBCSN, NBC Broadcast, and the NFL; as accounting manager at NBC Sports, she was responsible for all sports regional networks.
Prior to the Comcast/NBC merger, she was an accounting supervisor for Comcast SportsNet and the American Board of Internal Medicine, respectively, in Philadelphia. During her nine years with Comcast/NBC, Maria’s responsibilities spanned annual budgeting, long-range planning, forecasting, audits, and monthly close cycles.
A South Jersey native, Maria is a Rowan University alumna where she graduated with a B.S. in Accounting.
