Laura C. Forrest

Paralegal

Laura C. Forrest, a paralegal in the Intellectual Property Practice, assists with preparing and filing of new U.S. and foreign patent applications, drafting and filing responses, and preparation of correspondence to clients and foreign counsel. She further assists with due diligence, preparing preliminary searches, reviewing full search reports and the investigation of references and drafting clearance opinions. She attends to a myriad of other tasks related to the intellectual property paralegal function. 

Ms. Forrest has substantial experience in intellectual property, having worked for many years in the discipline for large national law firms in the region. Most recently, she was employed with Woodcock Washburn LLP, a boutique IP law firm. Ms. Forrest received a B.A. from Temple University and earned a Paralegal Certificate, with honors for outstanding scholarship and academic excellence, from the American Institute for Paralegal Studies.
