Kristan L. Howard

Kristan L. Howard is a member of Flaster/Greenberg's Real Estate and Bankruptcy, Financial Restructuring and Risk Management Practice Groups. Ms. Howard concentrates her practice in bankruptcy and all aspects of real estate law. 

Ms. Howard’s experience in bankruptcy includes both commercial and consumer-related bankruptcy issues. Ms. Howard advises her clients' in-house counsel and business people on all phases of the bankruptcy process and works with them to modify existing policies and procedures to minimize risk. Her practice also involves prosecuting and defending bankruptcy litigation and claim objections, resolving contract assumption/rejection issues, and litigating automatic stay issues.

Ms. Howard’s real estate practice includes representation of private clients, financial institutions and commercial developers in connection with the acquisition, financing, development and leasing of commercial, residential and mixed-use projects.

Prior to joining Flaster/Greenberg, Ms. Howard was an associate at Archer & Greiner PC, with a focus on real property transactions. She previously served as a student law clerk for the Honorable Cynthia Rufe, Judge, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
