Eric J. Van

Eric J. Van is a member of Flaster/Greenberg’s Bankruptcy, Financial Restructuring and Risk Management Practice Group.  He focuses his practice on all aspects of the bankruptcy process, including advising and assisting debtors in the initiation of cases, creating and implementing plans and lockup agreements, seeking approval of asset sales, debtor financing, and assumption of contracts, and representing creditors on claim, stay relief, and case management matters.

Most recently, Mr. Van was affiliated with Gordon Silver, a distinguished law firm based in Las Vegas, Nevada. At Gordon Silver, Mr. Van handled a wide variety of bankruptcy cases, with a focus on complex corporate reorganizations necessitated by that region’s depressed economic status.  He additionally handled various transactional matters.  Mr. Van holds substantial skill in business and corporate law matters.  Prior to entering the private practice of law, Mr. Van was a law clerk with United National Insurance Company, and worked as an analyst at The Vanguard Group, Inc.
