Alexis Arena focuses her practice on trademark counseling and litigation, online trademark enforcement, and internet disputes. She advises clients on protecting and enforcing intellectual property rights online, including the resolution of domain name disputes and matters concerning e-commerce, online speech and conduct, and related intellectual property issues.

Ms. Arena has experience representing companies and individuals in commercial litigation matters involving a range of industries, and practices in state and federal courts in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Before joining Flaster/Greenberg in 2008, Ms. Arena practiced as an associate in the litigation group at McCarter & English, LLP.

Representative Matters

  • Successful prosecution of more than a dozen domain name dispute proceedings before the National Arbitration Forum and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre; proceedings resulted in domain names registered and hosted around the world being transferred to our clients
  • Representation of a software company in a lawsuit against Google, based on Google's failure to include the client’s websites in Google's search results; following the lawsuit's filing, the company's websites were "relisted" in Google's search results
  • Successful defense of a manufacturer in a products liability action in Philadelphia’s County Court of Common Pleas arbitration program
  • Second chair on the successful trial team in New Jersey state court asserting claims under New Jersey's Consumer Fraud Act

Community Activities

During law school, Ms. Arena was a summer intern in Kathmandu, Nepal, where she worked with members of the United Nations and World Health Organization to implement changes in Nepal's legal system.
