Steve Sacharow to Speak at NJICLE’s 2017 Family Law Symposium

Flaster Greenberg shareholder and family law attorney Steven B. Sacharow has been tapped by the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) to participate as a panelist at the Hot Tips in Family Law seminar on Friday, November 10th. 

This year's Hot Tips in Family Law provides fresh perspectives and new takeaways about how to prepare for and try your family law cases. The program offers proven tactics from sophisticated practitioners for trial preparation, trial techniques, using discovery, using the Case Information Statement, what is and what is not hearsay, ethical implications of using social media, and tips for direct and cross examination of fact and expert witnesses, as well as trial techniques in domestic violence cases. Sacharow’s portion of the seminar will focus on hot tips for examining a financial expert, focusing on direct examination.

Sacharow’s family law representation of clients includes matters involving child custody, parenting time, child support, alimony and equitable distribution of assets. It also consists of legal aspects of relationship formation including cohabitation and prenuptial agreements. His family law practice further includes representation of individuals involved in same sex relationships, including cohabitation agreements and dissolution of relationships, involving both divorces, civil unions and non-formalized relationships, as well as mediation and arbitration, (as a mediator or arbitrator and representing clients in mediation or arbitration) and collaborative divorce.  Additionally, his adoption practice is comprised of domestic and interstate adoptions, agency or private, and he has extensive experience in the litigation of contested adoption matters.  

The “Hot Tips for Family Law” seminar will take place on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick, NJ and has been approved for 5.1 NJ CLE credits.
