Simon Participates in Arbitration Panel Program

Michael S. Simon, a shareholder in the Trenton office of Flaster/Greenberg PC, recently participated in a panel discussion at the Justice Marie L. Garibaldi Inn of Court for Alternative Dispute Resolution. The program, entitled “Is Arbitration Dead – Or Should It Be?” was presented in Basking Ridge, NJ, on January 13, 2011, before an audience of members of the Inn of Court, who are active arbitration and mediation neutrals and advocates, as well as members of the judiciary. Topics included the pros and cons of arbitration, and what needs to be done to realize its full benefit. The program covered an overview of the arbitration process as well as included a discussion about arbitration clauses and how to select appropriate arbitrators. In addition to Mr. Simon, panelists included the Honorable Jack Lintner (retired) and the Honorable William Dreier (retired). 

Mr. Simon has been involved in arbitration and mediation for more than 30 years, as a neutral, lecturer, and having represented clients in mediation and arbitration.  He serves on the select construction complex cases panel for the American Arbitration Association, and is a Charter Member and Master of the Justice Marie L. Garibaldi Inn of Court for Alternative Dispute Resolution. Mr. Simon is a nationally recognized construction attorney who focuses his legal practice on construction law and claims and all phases of alternative dispute resolution procedures.
