Kevin Greenberg Named to "Lawyers on the Fast Track"
Flaster/Greenberg shareholder Kevin Greenberg was named to The Legal Intelligencer's "Lawyers on the Fast Track List." The annual award recognizes 20 attorneys from across the state who "have worked tirelessly in their professional, personal and civic lives to improve the legal landscape and the future of others" and are under 40 years of age. The list was compiled by an independent panel from hundreds of nominations.
Greenberg counsels a wide range of businesses, including major universities, technology start-ups, other law firms, and small and multi-national businesses across all manner of transactional and regulatory matters. He is the co-chair of the firm's Government Relations and Regulatory Law Practice, and is a member of the corporate, intellectual property and real estate practice groups.
Before joining Flaster/Greenberg, Greenberg was the Philadelphia Chief Deputy City Solicitor for Economic Development and Investments, and in that capacity was involved in many of the area's most significant recent projects, including the Delaware Avenue waterfront; Philadelphia Wi-Fi; the Art Museum facility capital projects and improvements; relocating the Barnes Museum; and introduction of casino gaming to the region. A former general counsel for a software company, Greenberg is regularly involved in technology development and licensing, copyright, trademarks, start-up funding and telecommunications
His prior experience also includes senior staff and advisory roles for major national and regional officials and political campaigns. He was a national policy advisor to the Obama campaign on technology, media and telecommunications, and served as a senior advisor on innovation and national priorities for the Obama Transition Team.
Greenberg received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, where he was a senior editor of the Law Review. He graduated in 1993, cum laude, from Williams College. He has previously been recognized as a Leadership Philadelphia Connector, one of Philadelphia's 40 Under 40, and a Pennsylvania Lawyer Rising Star. He also serves as a member of the Small Business, Legislative, and Excellence Awards Committee of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
