Flaster/Greenberg's Renee Vidal to be Honored by the Burlington County Advisory Council on Women
Flaster/Greenberg PC shareholder Renee C. Vidal will be honored by the Burlington County Advisory Council on Women, at the organization’s annual Outstanding Women of the Year dinner and ceremony, to take place on March 31. Each year in March, to coincide with Women’s History Month, the Council recognizes Burlington County women who have excelled in their chosen fields, but who have also made a difference in their community through their demonstrated support for other women. Awards are given in a variety of categories; Ms. Vidal will be named the 2011 “Woman of the Year for Community Service.” Proceeds from the awards dinner will go to the Council’s scholarship fund.
Ms. Vidal focuses her practice on estate and tax planning, estate administration, business and corporate services and elder law. She represents clients in corporate business and transactional matters, which include the acquisition and sale of businesses, preparation of estate and tax plans, shareholder and operating agreements, and negotiation and preparation of employment agreements.
A well known community leader and women’s advocate, Ms. Vidal is frequently recognized for her accomplishments and service. As past chairperson of the Burlington County Chamber of Commerce, she is a member of the Board of Directors and Women in Business Committee. She is also a former member of the Chamber's Executive Committee. A founding member of the Burlington County Advisory Council on Women and past chairperson of its predecessor, the Burlington County Advisory Committee on Women, Ms. Vidal also serves on the Community Impact Panel of the United Way of Burlington County, and has served on the Executive Board of Directors of the American Association of University Women, New Jersey. She was named Community Advocate of the year in 2006 by the South Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners; one of the 50 Best Women in Business in 2009 by NJ Biz Magazine; named a New Jersey “Super Lawyer” in 2006 and 2007 by Thomson-Reuters; named to the “Top Attorney” list in SJ Magazine, 2010; and most recently, was named to the 2010 “Legal Elite” list by SmartCEO Magazine.
