Flaster/Greenberg Shareholder Lynda L. Calderone Presents at MACE
Lynda L. Calderone, a shareholder with Flaster/Greenberg PC, and the chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group, was one of three featured lecturers at a recent CPA CLE series on May 19, 2011 on intellectual property valuation presented by the CPA CLE series, MACE (Mansfield Adult Continuing Education) at the Penn State Great Valley Campus Conference Center.
Ms. Calderone lead the discussion by providing a background on various types of IP that may be valued as well as legal issues that IP attorneys review in providing feedback to accountants and valuation experts when assessing corporate IP. Robert Fesnak from Fesnak & Associates spoke on accounting calculation paths for valuation of IP and Steve Kantor of KEH Insurance spoke on IP enforcement and defense insurance.
Ms. Calderone practices intellectual property law, concentrating on patent prosecution, litigation and IP due diligence; IP related agreements including licenses; and patentability, validity, infringement and unenforceability analyses. She counsels inventors and businesses in portfolio management and development of patent strategies, including conducting IP audits.
