Abbe F. Fletman selected for ABA Post
Flaster/Greenberg PC shareholder Abbe F. Fletman has been selected a member-at-large of the Council of the Section of Litigation of the American Bar Association. The Council is the governing body of the Section of Litigation, which is the largest specialty section of the American Bar Association. The Council is responsible for setting policy, approving the budget and considering proposals from committee chairs, other ABA sections or committees and outside groups. Ms. Fletman will serve a three-year term, beginning later this year.
She also currently serves as co-director of Division VI of the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association, in which role she supervises eight committees, including Corporate Counsel, Ethics and Professionalism, the Minority Lawyer and the Woman Advocate.
Ms. Fletman chairs the litigation section of Flaster/Greenberg’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, and is the co-chair of its Government Relations and Regulatory Law Practice Group. She concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation and counseling, and represents government entities in complex litigation. For the past two consecutive years, Ms. Fletman has been named one of the Top 50 Female Attorneys in Pennsylvania by Thompson-Reuters. She is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, where she additionally serves as treasurer of the Albert Einstein Healthcare Services Board, and serves on the Board of Overseers of Albert Einstein Healthcare Network.
