Understanding NJ Prevailing Wage and Contractor Registration
New Jersey’s Prevailing Wage Act is no easy matter. Getting work is tough enough; filling out complex paperwork makes it even more of a challenge. And, when a technical error in completing those complicated forms could result in a fine or other penalty, you know it is time to learn how to do it the right way.
Associated Builders and Contractors New Jersey Chapter (NJ ABC) invites you to participate in this FREE event hosted by ABC member, Flaster/Greenberg PC, that will answer all of your questions about the Prevailing Wage Act and help you avoid trouble.
Three officials from the New Jersey Department of Labor (NJ DOL) and Workforce Development will be on-hand to explain the nuts and bolts of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act. They will walk us through the process of doing work on public contracts and compliance with the requirements of the Prevailing Wage Act and will take any questions you might have.
NJ DOL Speakers:
David Biglin, Bureau Chief overseeing Public Contracts, Hearing & Review, and Wage Collection Sections
Ashleigh Chamberlain, District Supervisor, Public Contracts Section overseeing investigations
