COURSE DESCRIPTION
If you are thinking of launching a business, or are wondering how to grow your business to the next level, an infusion of capital may be what you need to reach your goals. The question is, how do you go about raising the money you need? This program will discuss the concept of "private offerings," a technique often utilized by start-up ventures and small companies to obtain necessary funding.
We will explore the various types of private offerings, what rules apply, and where the opportunities exist. To help you evaluate whether this strategy is right for your business, we will review the do's and don'ts, the laws and limitations, and the costs associated with private offerings, as well as assess the current state of the private equity markets.
Our attorney-speakers possess decades of experience as advisors to start-up businesses, entrepreneurial concerns, closely-held and emerging growth companies. We have assisted clients at every stage of the business life cycle, counseling on a range of issues, from initial choice of entity, to expansion strategies involving tax-free mergers, sales and acquisitions, to exit strategies.
