Mitchell H. Kizner, a member of the Litigation and Environmental Law Practice Groups, represents clients in environmental, insurance and other commercial matters as part of his active litigation and commercial law practice. He is also General Counsel to the firm.
As a member of Flaster/Greenberg's Alternative and Renewable Energy group, he represents clients engaged in or considering business ventures in emerging green energy fields such as solar, wind, geothermal, cogeneration, biofuels and biomass.
A frequent author of environmental law articles published in periodicals such as the New Jersey Law Journal, his past articles have included:, "No Further Action Letter May Be Unreliable". and most recently "New Site Remediation Reform Act and Public Notice Requirements to Enhance Role of Municipalities in Environmental Remediation Process."

In addition to handling environmental insurance coverage matters, Mr. Kizner routinely handles matters seeking insurance coverage for professionals, construction companies and other commercial entities.
He has also served as solicitor to the Cumberland County Vocational Board of Education since 1995 and served as special environmental counsel to the Borough of Woodbine from 1991 until 2005.
Community Service and Affiliations
Active in the community, Mr. Kizner is a volunteer on the South Jersey Hospice Ethics Committee, and is a board member of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Association of Cumberland County Foundation. Mr. Kizner serves as trustee to the Environmental Law Section of the New Jersey Bar Association.
